Merry Christmas to all who come forth! =) Yes, indeed, the day has come. It's been a long and arduous year for me; so much has happened, I don't know where to start... This December also marks my 1 full year in service. I officially enlisted on the 16th Dec 06, finished my BMT in March 07, went to OETI for my Technician Course, finished about Jun-ish 07, went on to Pasir Ris camp for my attachment till about Sept 07, then went on to Changi Naval Base for my Seamanship course till Dec 07. =) And now, in Sembawang NDU Camp for my Naval Chef posting.
I signed as a Naval Chef regular with the Republic of Singapore Navy in 2007, and I've never looked back. Many ask, why? I say, it's rewarding. It's a stepping stone for my career, and my future is in my hands; I have to make things happen, I have to take the first step. Step at a time, I'll look far and aim high. It will be done. Make it so.
16 Sept 07 also marks the day that AnRu and I were officially separated. It's been 15months and 27days. Again, so much happened during that 15M27D period. We sent off an angel, with only memories to keep forever. It ain't easy, but it just had to be so.. Be strong.
I got to know a mighty Queen in Q4 of 2007, and it's been a rollercoaster ride, filled with unexpected twists, turns, ups and downs. Still holding on tight, still braving the tides, I still survive, and I still am pressing forth. It's nothing like I've ever experienced, and I believe. I believe it can work, and I believe that it will be fulfilling. Knowing what you want in life is one thing. Pursuing what you want in life is extremely important. Not quitting pursuing what you want takes character. That I have.
Enough of reminiscing for now.
Yesterday we went for a movie~ =) Yeah~ The tickets invited me, so I just asked and we went. What show? I am Legend. This is his legacy. =P Relatively unsettling show... Does have it's freaky moments, though it wasn't boring. Full of action when the action scenes come, and laced with comedy and "awww..." moments in the others. Sure, there was a "SHIT!" scene where the cinema bursted out (whispered actually..) with "Shit..." at random locations, within split seconds of each other. Yeah... I probably shouldn't spoil it for people who have yet to watch it. Yes I know I'm reeaaallly considerate and sweet. Thanks in advance. =P. In the meantime, go book your tickets and watch the show. It's pretty fine, I'd say it's worth the money. Bring excellent company and it'll be a bonus. =) I enjoyed my company for this movie and every other movie we've been to. I really did~! Thanks~
Had a talk after the movie, though it was cut short by unexpected circumstances... Oh well, a pity... So near yet so far... Didn't really get to finish, but do hope it could continue. I get irked everytime conversations get left off halfway and takes a long time later before it gets completed, or even never... It's like watching half a movie or reading half a book... Bet you hate that too... A stalemate ensued, leaving awkward moments and 'urm' sessions... Quite FTW.. Why can't Christmas Eve be a little more relenting... zzz..
I STILL find that it's pointless and that you have to be firm with your decisions... You've already decided on a few counts... And it's already been said that it would be much better; discussions have already concluded with with same thing time and time again, and moments have already proven that you like it better the new way. Let it be so, won't you?
Less than an hour before Christmas fades away. And then people'll be counting down for 2008! =) I wish for a peaceful and prosperous new year, and also wish for the first for the new year =P First what? You'll find out. You'll see. It'll be a good year, I assure.
